It's obvious nobody's going to be happy.  ::shrug::  He's President for a couple of more years.  If you don't like him, don't vote for him during the next election.  If you do like him, vote for him.  If you like Rush, listen.  If you don't, change the station.  Pretty simple. :)

Just curious for those folks who don't like Pres. Bush; when 9/11 happened, what was your reaction?  What kind of action (or non-action) did you want him to take?  Did you agree with what he proposed and are now nit-picking?  What happens the next time?

Okay.

Multiple people, Morat.

Dubya has been combing the ranks of the Reagan-era felons and has appointed several of them, Poindexter and Abrams to start with.

I find it hilarious to see that the same person on this thread said "Praise God" when referring to Gore not running, but then turned around and said, "Ventura in 2004!"

Either you're a very open-minded Christian, or you don't know that Ventura is an atheist. :) Or at least I'm assuming he's one since he said this:

"Organized religion is a sham and a crutch for weak-minded people who need strength in numbers."

I agree that he'd be a great president. It'd be nice to see someone in office who says what he thinks is the truth rather than saying what he thinks people want to hear. If I were a Christian, I'd rather have the honest atheist in the office any day over the person who pretends to be religious to get votes (e.g., all of the pandering pundits who recited The Pledge of Allegiance after the court case against it became known; how could that have been anything other than a publicity stunt?).

I LOVE George W, and I am a Republican through and through. HOWEVER, Bush plays the political game, and THAT I don't like...he called someone an A****** at a rally. Then he backed down and apologized. Now, if that's what he REALLY thought about the guy, why apologize? Had Jesse Ventura said that, he probably wouldn't have apologized. That's all I meant by supporting him for Prez. I just like the fact that he doesn't back down.

Hazy--I agree with you 110%. I AM a Christian, and I would rather have an honest atheist, than a lying Christian (one with no morals, I might add) be put into a top position. Al Gore CLAIMS to be a Christian while spouting off liberal, immoral, and unethical garbage. I didn't know that Jesse Ventura was an atheist, but at least you know what and where he stands.

1 - Bush is doing a fine job. Morons don't pass aeronautical engineering and become pilots.
2 - Gore decided not to run because he knew he didn't have a chance in 2004. He's hoping to revamp his image and try in 2008.
3 - There is no chance (zero, nada, nechevo, zilch) that Hillary will ever be president.

Who exactly are you talking about?

If Bush is re-elected in 2004, America will go DOWN. The economy will be destroyed, nuclear war will break out, poverty will increase, and white house corruption will continue.

Just out of curiousity, I'm wondering what kind of reasoning you have to support these claims.
