  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I have no idea what you are saying. Care to rephrase without jargon?

Do you agree with this statement?

My pleasure.

First I should say that I affirm a correspondence view of truth
(Truth is that which corresponds to its subject),
so I presuppose absolute truth.

To know truth necessarily is to know it appart from its being.
"IT" does not need to exist to been known abosolutely, by a necessary being. This implies no sequence of ideas, no coming to know.

To know truth contingently is to, not only, know what is but to come to know it sequentially. A contingent being can only come to know in sequence. the sequence of ideas are contingent upon the necessary being.

I'm left to believe that, there is no one left to occupy the esteemed objective position.

God knows necessarily, for He is necessary.

To know objectively is to know what is.
God does not need "it" to exist to know "it".

We know contingently, for we are contingent.

I do not see anyone left to hold the esteemed objective position.

To me, objectivity appears to be as much an error as is chance.
