OK...Please read this with an open mind. I am not trying to scare anyone but I want to share with you the cons of secular music.
That's a wonderful conspiracy theory you have there *pats head ..all you need now is to communicate it in a way that doesn't sound like...you know..The devil is behind a majority of it and he deceives most people into thinking it is ok to listen to.
Yep the subconscious can relate some pretty convincing sensations to your sleeping brain ...I don't see what this has to do with music or demons though infact, it sounds to me like you were being (somewhat literally) tortured by your own guilt. As far as nightmares.. blah blah ..awake in my dream, could do nothing to move and feeling all the pain and then would wake up and remember everything.
mmm...funny that, are you perhaps an impulse buyer too? you seem easily influenced.Just like that movie Poltergeist and White Noise.
Wow, I've heard some totally unevidenced statements before but never "God owns music"Music was invented to praise God and man has corrupted it with the help and influence of the devil
I don't know ..what does the bible say about death metal? How does this music associate with Christianity?
That would be the sort of thing that professionals would treat ...blaming demons on maladies seems so ..archaic ..scaryMy demonic oppression got so bad that I had contemplated suicide because it got to the point where I could only sleep 1 or 2 hours a day out of complete exhaustion.
I was worried that you were easily influenced ..I was justified it seems.I became a Christian in 2002 and threw out my cd's. After a year I bought them all back and when I saw the Passion I threw them out again
I have very serious doubts that what you went through was a direct result of music, and someone who seems as on edge as you are is perhaps not in the best of positions to dispense with advice.I just don't want to see anyone get into what I did to myself through music.
I told you!God Bless you all.

Talk about opiates for the masses.

As a new Christian I am more interested in posting threads on this secular music site and answering questions that non-christians ask. I used to listen to Satanic heavy metal for the past 11 years. Through the music I opened gateways for demons to haunt me. The devil is for real and all he wants to do is kill your flesh. If you don't have a relationship with Jesus then you go to hell. I am not saying who is going to hell but in JOHN 3:5 it states that no man can enter into the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and spirit. If you don't give your life to Christ Jesus then you live for the world. I feel sorrow for those who think there going to party with the devil when they die. I am covered in Satanic tattoos, I am 6'7" tall, weigh 330 lbs. and used to visit the mosh pit frequently. However this is the power of Jesus blood for it forgives you of all past sin, present sin, and future sin. At the same point in time you can't willfully sin. You may hide this music from people at church but you can't hide it from Jesus.
As far as nightmares go after opening gateways the demons came at me in dreams and then the dreams turned physical. I would be awake in my dream, could do nothing to move and feeling all the pain and then would wake up and remember everything. I also went through spiritual hauntings as far as unexplained sounds and seeing things move. Just like that movie Poltergeist and White Noise. If you think this sounds cool your wrong because the demons find out what scares you and they keep pushing those buttons. when you listen to these types of music it also grieves the spirit of God. How can you praise Jesus when there singing about sinning at will. Music was invented to praise God and man has corrupted it with the help and influence of the devil. Next time you have a nightmare ask yourself if listening to this music is really that cool. Is it worth it to open gateways for demons to haunt you just because the music sounds so good. I used to justify the music and say I didn't listen to the lyrics. This is most peoples deception. How does this music associate with Christianity?
My demonic oppression got so bad that I had contemplated suicide because it got to the point where I could only sleep 1 or 2 hours a day out of complete exhaustion. Once again you can listen to whatever you want and I am not judging anyone. It just worries me when I see Christians who listen to secular music especially Satanic stuff. I became a Christian in 2002 and threw out my cd's. After a year I bought them all back and when I saw the Passion I threw them out again. Three months later I bought them all back and sank further into the darkness. I just threw them out for the final time on 1/3/05 after having an out of body experience with a demon.
I can only advise you to turn from secular music and learn to love Christian music. Once your heart is in it, it will be more enjoyable than any secular music. I know it is a hard thing to do because secular music dominates the world and there is persecution from the world for listening to Christian music. Just remember this life is a flash in the pan compared to eternity in heaven with the Holy Trinity. Secular music starts out as a foothold for Satan and then turns into a stronghold for Satan. Do you want to give Satan and his fallen angels an invitation into your life. I am only telling you this to warn you. Please don't take offense to this and if you do I am sorry. I just don't want to see anyone get into what I did to myself through music. The devil is no joke but he is defeated in Jesus name and as children of God we have his protection. This doesn't mean we can listen to bad secular music though. Just think about it with an open mind. God Bless you all.

It's an industry of saccharine devotion. All mashed potatoes and no meat.
We live in a land where no one wants to look beyond the cover of the book and "christian" music is no exception. It looks good, has a nice sound we can all clap our hands to, and gives us warm fuzzies when we sing it. But it has little or nothing to say. And such is how life is lived. A smile and a handshake in the foyer. "How are you?" "I'm fine." No one is fine. But the music and happy smiley people will make us nice and cozy for a while.
Meanwhile divorce is through the roof. Drugs and alcohol run rampant. Adultery is a behavior some people try to justify. Our kids get home from church and slice themselves to ribbons, and express all their pain through anonymous internet identities because they can't tell their church "family" how they are really feeling becaus ethey have found that expressing their pain is only met with judgment.
