pretty pictures, they said on the local news that the snow out your way wasn't just in the mtns. I guess it will melt pretty quick. We are to get almost a foot here Sat. night.

Yeah I was at work and it was raining pretty hard, I could hear it on the roof, and then some kids came in and told some other kids "hey guys it's snowing outside!" to which the other kids said "NO WAY!" and they all ran outside. I went out on my break but it had already started melting and there was just a little here and there and of course on my windshield.
My kids took their skateboards without wheels and was "snowboarding" in our little park water retention area. They said they had a blast! Doesn't happen very often and the last time I can remember it happening was 8 years ago the day we had my husbands funeral. We had pouring rain, then it stopped, then it hailed golf ball size hail balls, then it snowed. It was like my husband was up there with God saying "Now can you do THIS?" and now how about that? It was surreal.

This is a beautiful sunrise over Arizona! I don't know why it's so small when you click on it, though.

I wouldn't say this is a great picture, but this is me on a recent assignment to the desert southwest. I don't get to travel that often.

Programming and stuff. In your picture, you look like you are ready to go skateboarding, lol. I tried to rollerskate when I was young but always fell or crashed into things. So I associate the word skate with hitting the pavement hard.

I cant say that I took this photo...but I kinda....sorta.. did contribute! My eldest son took it. I drove him and another friend out of town one night so that the town lights wouldnt interfere. My contribution was...sitting in the car for aaaages, freezing mah butt off while they played with their cameras! Was worth it tho.

LOL I know, that's what I told them. I would probably break both hips if I tried to skateboard at my age. Not to mention I've never been able to balance on one even when I was a youngster.

Yes I love the beach. No place more peaceful IMO Great place to sit and reflect. I was having coffee with that alcoholic friend I was talking about in the other thread. This is the second week in a row and I think I am actually breaking through a little.

I'm about 300 miles from you and will be getting on the plane later today. My time was constrained all week as it is a business trip. If I were in your area sometime that would be great if we could meet. One of these days I'll take another vacation to AZ. I mostly know northern AZ but I could add southern AZ and maybe you could show me around the Phoenix area. That would be a fun day.
