CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I hope they do, they're overdue. They have consistently good teams year after year and they deserve the big prize.

In the immortal words of Kelly Hrudey, "Calgary's getting slaughtered out there".
I have lived in Calgary my whole life and been pulling for the Flames since they came here, but I have to confess that Detroit was a much, much , much better team.
The only reason we were able to drag this out to six games was Kiprusoff (55 shots tonight and only two goals).
The Flames need some major retooling over the summer and maybe a new coach.

If they take buffalo, They'll get it easily. Western teams aren't strong this year. Down with Buffalo!!!That's OK -- we only need one to take the cup home, and we all knew the Sens were going to take it this year anyway.
