NGE Remake?

It's not a remake altogether I guess, but they're redoing Neon Genesis Evangelion. I personally haven't made it all the way through the anime or the manga, but I'm still working on that. I can't seem to get my hands on the material :/

Wait, so is it (or part of it) out yet? It says to start in summer 2007, so then is movie 1 out or not?

I've known about Rebuild for a while. I'm looking forward to it, especially to how Anno will choose to end it this time around. On the Eva Monkey forums (or maybe it was somewhere else), I saw someone ponder whether since he's happily married now if the ending will reflect that to some degree, just like a lot of people make the connection that the onset of his depression around the halfway mark of the television run caused the remainder to turn as dark as it did. Not to mention this time the animation will actually be consistent.

As I mentioned in a previous thread, I wonder whether it'll be released on HD-DVD or Blu-ray when it comes out, and not upscaled like claims alleged about AIR's Blu-ray release.
