  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm honestly surprised seeing Tebow go in the first round. I think he'll prove to be a bust.

That said I'm not going to be bothered one bit if he proves me wrong. Although I know of some Tebow haters out there who's heads are probably exploding right now.

Buffalo was going to try to get Tebow, which is why Denver traded back up to get him. The QB battle in Denver is going to be interesting, but I still think Tebow is going to be left waiting in the wings. If a new CBA can't be reached, that could still be a problem unless Tebow decides to play in Canada in the event of a lockout.

Almost time for Rounds 2 and 3! Big question: will the Rams trade away pick 2:1 to a team that wants Clausen, and if so, who's the taker?

Big names I'm watching for tonight: Brian Price, Terrance Cody, Sergio Kindle, Golden Tate, and Everson Griffen. To me those are the best guys left on the board, and someone's getting tremendous value by drafting them in the second.

he is falling as is mccoy and kindle...

i thought miami would have taken kindle over misi

Bellichek likes his OLBs a little bigger, so that's not too surprising. I wonder if Baltimore takes Kindle or if there's a DB they like.

Kindle is a steal for the Ravens. And you're right about my misstep there, of course. :p

Carolina's an interesting pick. They need a DT but I don't know which ones left make sense for them.

And Clausen's still here, and it doesn't look like San Francisco or Kansas City want him...he's got a long fall ahead.
