  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Darth, you might as well be speaking in Cantonese. I have no idea what's going on.

A lot of folks follow the NFL draft, at least the first round. So I thought I'd post live updates.

I love how New England was not allowed a first round pick. In reality they don't need one when you have Brady as your quarterback.

What has surprised me is Arkansas Razorbacks had the biggest line in all of football including the NFL but yet no Razorbacks were first round picks. A couple of Ole Miss players made it but no Razorbacks. I was actually surprised how few SEC first round picks there was. Ohio State did pretty good.

With the 133rd pick in the NFL draft, the Minnesota Vikings select HotRhymez, from the CF singles forum.

(Hey, I can dream.........)

Unfortunately it was for the cheerleader team. :)

Why wasn't New England allowed a first round pick?

Tom Brady Gate. He let the air out of the balzz and was suspended but appealed it and won but the supreme court said it will stand so they also lost a first round pick and Brady can not play in the first 4 games of the season. At least that's what I recall, it may be for other reasons.
