CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Nah, cause as much as I'm a fan, I still don't think they have it in them to beat the 49ers next week...way too many injuries...

In all honesty, I think it will be a pretty good game, I just think the 49er defence is a bit better than my Giants right now. I'm not saying they couldn't win, but they're so decimated by injuries right now it will be very tough...

I will just let that slide right now, as I haven't seen the refs; blow as many calls as they have against your Packers, will since the Steelers were given the Super Bowl win against the Seahawks.
But I'm very angry at what the Chiefs fan did when Matt Castle got injured; that is classless cheering a serious injury.

Yea, I agree no one looks good in a cheesehead, but I guess that is my bias opinion. I don't mind the Giants, I even like Eli Manning quite a bit.

Well, there are a lot of things to consider. And honestly, I became a Giants fan 20 years ago when I saw the way they played. Some people go by name, look, home town, the best part of the NFL is there are a lot of teams to choose from! Have fun with it! (Oh, and just to let you know, my Giants are the defending Superbowl champs!

That's funny because when I saw your post earlier about the Giants winning, I was going to say the same thing about the 49's....good but overrated. But I didn't want to minimize your victory.
Last night was huge for the Pack, on a couple of different levels....
First of all, Houston WAS undefeated. Secondly, last night's game was HUGE for the Pack, psychologically. After all that's happened to them this year, they were psychologically defeated. This win will most likely change that!
They may have struggles on defense but they are much better than their record is showing.

I'm a Texans fan. Say what you will, but I've been a fan since day one. Was a fan through the dark times of the 2-14 season, and when they went 9-7 for the first time. I remember all the fuss and commotion about them drafting Mario Williams over Vince Young. Yeah I know Mario is with Buffalo now, but I still think we made the best choice. Now for this season we have one of the best solid Defensive Lines in the League. Wade Phillips has seen to that. I know we're 6-1 and that the Green Bay game two weeks ago was a huge wake up call. The Baltimore game last week proved to me that we can come back from a major loss and put a real hurting on a team.....
