That's a great testimony, I love it. God reached out and touched you and you saw the difference. I like how you see the importance of the Holy Spirit. I get the impression that those in to New Age movements have a good understanding of spirituality rather than religiosity.

Do you do outreach for the New Age community? I've heard of Christians doing this and it seems a great idea - if God leads one this way.

What made you uneasy about the New Age?

I'm going to use the links at the bottom of your testimony page to help bring my friend to God. I was raised in a Christian family but have recently really started to seek him. It's still hard though and I'm praying now for the Holy Spirit. I'm currently seeking a church. My friend has been to 2 churches with me but is drawn to formal, Anglican or Catholic churches for the latin and tradition and the warm feeling that provides. I'm trying to explain that what matters is a personal relationship with God. We tried to go to the Alpha course but got the dates wrong. Maybe that is a good option.

Has your husband found God?

Sorry I only just saw your message - my alerts were coming up on phone but then they didn't. No my husband has not yet come to God however God had me up one morning 4 am (I know!) praying for him and I truly felt a feeling that he will come to know God in his lifetime so I am trusting in the Lord with this and not fretting. I speak to new agers when in conversation but I am not really on much social media to spread this message. For example I could talk to two people on Thursday night at a work social who started talking about the mystical. One was more open than the other who actually said he wants to go to hell. He says Reiki brought him nothing but good. Yes, of course it will!

I have a strong feeling that your husband will come to know God too. It seems inevitable. I'll pray for that also, and it is a true opportunity to live out your faith by standing on something that you cannot see as well as allowing your life to be a testimony.

I've heard of Christians who held stalls at New Age events to outreach. Perhaps that is an option. I've never been into any of that but they seem to be looking for something more in life and open to the supernatural. Your insight in tho the lifestyle and community seems to good to waste. I'm sure God will allow this opportunity to arise if it is his will.

No, I have not written an online testimony yet. I feel I'm still at the precipice of a full conversion. I am waiting for the holy spirit and am going through some life struggles at the moment. It feels like I am striving too much and have not learned to let go and let God's grace take over. I have been transformed and need a lot more of change too.

Sorry for your current struggles. Keep praying daily for the wisdom to guide you in all things and ask for spiritual renewal. I am reading the book of Job in the OT and wow! If he can survive all that varied torment and keep his faith, there is hope for us all.

Great point about Job, put's it all into perspective. Though even then it is tempting to think of his problems being less when they obviously are not.
