Newbie in need of support of others :)

So I have heard of these youth groups? How do they work? Ohh I just turned 20 am I to old to go and join these groups? I want to share in the word Of God and Jesus Christ with others. Its hard relating to those who question me. And I feel down and disappointed when I try to talk and spread the word to others around me when they don't listen. I also get depressed when others think its weird, and talk to me like im crazy for Believing... HELP..Also its amazing how I recently have had my own testimony with God and I love to PREACH about him Its wonderful..JS=)

Don't be troubled about opinions of others, but just trust the Lord Jesus, and make Him your best Friend. Read your Bible daily ---always begin in the New Testament. God will bless you and take good care of you. Write me anytime.

I remember being twenty and you know what? None of their opinions matter today but Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever!

Interesting. Youth groups are ok but I have always believed in mixing age groups (old and young). It can be really cool hanging out with much older believers who are also on fire for Adonai. You may also be surprised at how much you can grow By spending time around them.

Yes, BibleFeast, some of us oldies know the mind of God quite well, but no one knows it all, so we need to go on together and share.

Always stand by what you believe in. It should not matter you what other people are saying. If you are spreading word of God then Jesus will always be there with you. What else do you need, that is sufficient.

It can be hard to find a youth group once you get into your 20's because many of them center around high school students. But some churches do have young adult groups if you look for them! Ask around. Also, there are probably Christian student groups at local colleges who would be happy to hang out with you even if you are not a student at that school.

I have often felt like some churches don't bother reaching out to people in their early 20's because that age group typically does not have a lot of disposable income to donate to money-seeking churches.. Unfortunately that is just another negative consequence of the "business model" of American churches.

But in any case, you are definitely not alone, and it is good to seek out other Christians who can relate to you! There are probably plenty in your area if you look, and there are certainly plenty online. If you seek, you will find
