I started off on a tangent in a sidebar with another poster which you decided to intercept and divert for reasons of your own.

You keep projecting - what you're describing are not my feelings at all, so they must be yours that you simply attribute to me. If you really want to talk about feelings, please acknowledge that they are yours, not mine.

Do you understand that the meaning of the independent clause is modified by the dependent clause? I get that it is a complex sentence that might be difficult to grasp - I can use a simpler construct if you think that would help. However, if you are misunderstanding for fun, then thank you for the goading game, but no, thanks.
