it doesn't sound impressive without a picture , but driving back from Roma Qld, i passed a speed limit sign which said 100kph(60 mph for you yanks). i didn't think anything of it until i came to a stop sign 30 yards later.(by the way, my brakes work)

In Townsville you can go 100km/hr for all of 12metres in one of the bussiest streets near where used to live

Now, this is our little song in Australia too.
Click on that and wait for it to load. It takes awhile sometimes but I have found that the more you use it, the faster it seems to load. I reckon it's because the webpage must warm up after a bit of use.
It's called "Home Amongst The Gumtrees" . It was written a few years back but we like it because Don Burke pinched it for his theme song on our Aussie Programme "Burke's Backyard". It's worth a look!

And...in the outback...we have a bit of a prob with potholes...but...the water son drains away. You sit a stick in the ground at the edge of the water and watch it recede while you boil the billy.
