THIRLMERE LAKES. Famous as a destination for tourists and railway daytrippers at the turn of 19th century, Thirlmere Lakes National Park is a heritage natural wetlands area. Beautiful natural bushland and five reed fringed lakes with beaches, and among the last undisturbed lake systems near Sydney.

Thanks Bev, I cant believe how good this rabbit was for me. I was lying on the grass not more than 5 or 6 meters from it and whats more, it's a local legend that it is not just a rabbit but a Yeti :) (I suspect it of being a hare tho). That eye is from the flash reflecting. Got that shot on the same night as the cloud/moon one

The colour doesn't seem right for a hare White does it? It's not proportioned properly with a hare either. I am fascinated by this photo. Are you sure the eye is from the flash reflector? It looks too big to me. Also, the ears of a hare are longer than that, that's an amazing photo! It's got me quite intrigued.
Yea, I guess your right about the colour and proportin and ears, but it certainly acted more like a hare that a rabbit in the way it moved and sat and thumped the ground.
Yea I am fairly sure about the eyes, kinda like a dogs eyes look bigger when they have car headlights shining at them I guess.
Actually, I just worked out why. When light bonces of a Convex (outward) surface (say, an eye) it gets thrown out making it bigger
