  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey y'all!
My pw and I are going to do a Bible study for the month of March. It's about the new testament rules we are to live by since we don't live by old testament law, being under grace. Does that make sence?
Well, I need to know what books in the NT have these "rules" or instructions. Please help me find these books soon. Would like to start this bible study March first.
Also. All of u are welcome to join me and Erin (my pw) in this study if you're interested.
I look forward to your replies. Thanks for ur help.
God bless,
Laura

You're not going to find much that differs from the Old Testament "rules"... Because they're all the same. The vast majority of the New Testament is repeating the Old, or clarifying it, or giving it deeper meaning.

In what books would the old testament "rules" be repeated and clarified? Just looking for the books so I can do a bible study w/ my pw and anyone else who wants to.

If you look to what defines citizenship in heaven or not I would still go with Galatians as that is separeting law and grace, which is the defineing difference between OT & NT.
Rules of Entry=law. Won`t get you in.
Gift of Grace=The way. Will get you in.
