new sport

Hey there, I just started playing rugby on a team here in Portland. It's fun but hard work. I'm pretty poor though and I will need to buy some new gear and not to mention member dues. I think God really wants me to get out there and be social and healthy though. I have a month before I have to worry about dues and what not, but please pray that I am able to do this rugby thing and that I can work something out financially as well as sometimes I will need help getting to far away games, we have a game in seattle this weekend but I already have a ride for that.

Please pray that I can be a good and valued player too. I still have a lot of work to do, all the running is hard but my strength is good, just not my stamina, so pray they have some patiance with me, it will take I'm guessing 2 weeks or so before I can do all that stuff without getting over exausted, though all the bike rideing I have to do for my job has helped prepare.

I just also want to say that when people pray for me on this site, everything works out so perfectly. God just methodically helps fix or control my problems, and leads me to new endevors, so thanks again and have faith in your prayers.

Father, your glory is so bright that we can't even see when we look. Lord, be with benjamin as he begins this new sport. Lord, guide him on your path, and we lift him up to You. Father, that he will do Your will on the team, and witness to the lost. Lord, give him the words that he needs. Provide for him the finances to play, so that he may do Your work.
