But no-one objects that the meaning of the Our Father is altered between the Biblical version and the (several) prayer versions. No one argues that we should change the words of the traditional prayer even though it does not align perfectly with scripture.
This is the very same reason we would not do this for the 'Hail Mary'.
Unfortunately, with the Hail Mary, some do argue a major difference in meaning. Either Mary was full of Grace from God, or (in the view of some fundamentalists) she was given no special grace, but merely favoured by being picked out from many to bear Jesus.
