How do you turn it off?

In "Edit Options" (UserCP), scroll down to Miscellaneaous Options. There's a drop down menue on the right to the line

"Message Editor Interface"

If yours shows "Full Wysiwyg Editing" you can select basic or standard editor.

You need to turn off WYSIWG. All tags are then kept intact.

icon? it's in the Quick Reply box or WSYIWYG editor.

Just type out a chapter and verse and wrap it in [bible tags

spelling counts.

type the chapter and verse:

genesis 1:2-3

highlight the text

then click that icon button and it puts the tags in for you

you can also type them yourself, no space before the chaper, and no space after the verse #
