New Pains

So I'm 2 weeks or so away from my third trimester and I'm already feeling it. I'm really tired, my back is killing me, breathing isn't as easy as it used to be lol, and I'm just feeling heavy in general. Yesterday though was a very bad day, one of the worst thus far. My back hurt so bad I was almost in tears and nothing I did made it better. Then I woke up this morning with no back pain but some pain in the front on both sides, both sharp and quick and then a dull ache, it's kind of come and gone all day. Could this be round ligament or possibly braxton hicks?

possible braxton hicks. I wish I could tell you what they felt like but I never did expierence those. Just relax as much as you can hun! You will have that baby before you know it!

I hear ya hun. Not a lot can be done about it but with my back I've made my bath tub my new best friend.

It sounds like round ligament pain to me. It can be pretty bad. I usually do like Linnis and getting in the bathtub really helps it. My braxton hicks feel like something is squeezing my belly really hard and I feel the outline of the baby and all the appendages are digging in. Not truly painful like a contraction but uncomfortable. I feel alot like you and I am 32 weeks along. I am reveling in the fact that it won't be long now. I hope you feel better soon.

That is what I was going through all weekend!!! I took a warm bath and drank lots of water (I have lived in the bathroom the last few days LOL) and yesterday was the first day I felt 100% again. I think I was just waaay too dehydrated. You may take a look at that. Hope it gets better for ya sis

Braxton Hicks shouldn't hurt this early on - can be uncomfortable, but it shouldn't be painful. I would guess it's your ligaments stretching. Easy way to tell: If you're having BH your whole uterus will be hard, and will relax after a minute or so (especially if you move around a bit, or change your activity level, so lie down if you were walking and vice versa).

I agree with Lin about the Braxton Hicks. I can sympathise with the back pain. I had it all the way through my one pregnancy. It was so bad by the end that when my daughter was born and the doctors asked how I was doing my first response was, "My back doesn't hurt anymore."
