Hi, everyone. I'm also here to help...loving being a RESCUER.

I love team Hope! Renuka is AWESOME!! She's really been doing a great job.

I agree with Ty about rescuing abandoned pets from their owners.

I'm also interested in figuring out a more effective (affective?) way of keeping up the abandoned angels thread, like RESCUER22 said.

I would love to be able to take pets away from owners who have left CF... I have talked with Erwin about this before and He says we can not take them away... so we need to decide at what point we will allow them to die or do we continue to feed them forever??

I think we can discuss that point when the list of abandoned angels becomes tooooo long to take care off...right now with the help of some kind members we still can keep them all alive

Yeah, right now the list is not overly long. And we have a great group of people keeping them fed.

I really appreciate the CF Pet Rescuers, because I ALWAYS forget to feed my poor chicky. In Real Life, though, my little puppy is never hungry.

In the adoptable pets sticky, if you posted more than once, the Dr. asked me to clean that up - so I combined the posts if you had more than one. If for some reason you are unable to edit your own post, send me a PM and I'll fix it for you.

First *knowingly* letting them die is simply NOT an option PERIOD!

Second, any ideas on how to influence Erwin to change his mind on this issue?

That is why he created a way for us to feed the pets So we have our answer and I really dont want to bug him again about it.... it is our job to try our best not to let it die... If an owner pm's you asking you to allow the pet to die, that is when I usually pm back asking in a nice way why?? can we please adopt the pet or something like that... We also have a few pet owners that do not want our help.... ( we have a new thread of pets not to feed) we must abide by their wishes... however that does not mean we can not check up on the pet and see how long the owner has not been on.... when a pet is almost dead they automactically are not with the owner but it says they are in daycare... but they are only in between life and death... Not sure when it happens or if was a bug... In these situations I think we should step in a feed the pet enough till it is back with the owner and if the owner has not been on then watch the pet closer until owner comes back or can be placed on abandon list... *LD*

just got another idea

when a person creates a pet cn't he/she sign an understanding that his/ her pet will not die / will be fed regularly or they will pay a fine of ......blessings

have question... with pet icon would you like for me to edit it when you mouse over it to say what team you are on??
another question... to all the Foster Angels... do you want to have your own team leaders even and odd or are you ok staying with the Rescuers??

Don`t matter for me.I only care for my pets I don`t know what purpose the team have.When the team starte that was ro collect the pets and I think that even number have got the even pets was a good idea.Why? When I see a pet with a number I say Ok that belongs to team hope if that is a even number and then I can go and look for the pet and maybe see if that person that is a rescure or angel need some help.On that case this help me to be more effective in my work

Renuka is doing a GREAT job...

I think someone on the CFPR/CFFA staff ought to have the power to put the abandoned pets up for adoption. If a pet owner has not been online in 30 days they ought to lose pet privaledges if they abondoned their pet when they left. This should be clearly stated/announced. I believe the current policy, as I understand it, is to leave the pets in the hands of irresponsible pet owners. This is a mistake as I see it.

I going to have a diffucult time when we must let the pets go (My abnom..pets I really like. Now I have had them nearly all time I have been a angel ) but I agree that we can`t feed them for ever either

Ruth, the other members still can help us with the abandoned angels since that thread is in the main forum where everyone can post and there are "just" around 30 of them on the list as of now....so I think we could manage to keep them alive I know what you mean with letting them go you get attached to the poor critters...

Are you sure they can.I have tried with my Rut account but I couldn`t.I shall maybe try again Have we only 30 of them.I suprised that we haven`t more
