New Major Feature: CF User Customizer!

The Users Online box looks quite colourful now!! I can live with the changes...most other forums I'm a member of are plain and nowhere near as colourful as CF, and you should be applauded for the efforts you put into the site, Erwin!

I've added all the "old" font settings (well, most of it except for size and glow effect strength) to the current "new" CFShop system settings. Took me all night to do this, but it's done.

I also managed to add font type/ face to the options. All the old font faces have been imported over too.

The big bonus is that your font settings, under the new system, now shows up EVERYWHERE. Cool huh!

Username PREVIEW is working now - you can preview your username with the new font settings as many times as possible without using up blessings. Check it out!

ERWIN/anyone! I'm confused................Thanks for the PM Big Toe. However, I was testing something and lost blessings and can't see 'my' pet if I have one. I did get a signature and lost blessings as well after fumbled attempts. Can someone explain to me what I did. I'm glad your pet had some fun BUT......... puzzled in Ontario

For changing fonts and colors on the User Custom Shop:::I don't know what all the font and color options are. Is there a list somewhere to see all the different choices?

I think all of these things just make it more complicated and limit new users...not very fair...but oh well.

That's a good question. I'd like to know if that can be implimented as well. When I bought my glow back, I noticed I had to guess at what color I had it, and it turned out the glow I had before was a darker shade of red. It'd help to be able to see the colors we have to choose from. Maybe a pull-down menu or something to help? *shrugs*

EDIT: I'm glad my glow color is back the way it used to be, as I couldn't remember what it was. Hehe. Thanks for making everyone's colors to where they were before the changeover, Erwin.

Help! I am trying to change my font, but when I click 'confirm' nothing happens. I even went back to IE from Mozilla to make the changes, but..... ??

Hmm... I was looking forward to a reply and notice the posts from 9:12 a.m. to 4:33 p.m. yesterday are missing. I'm sorry if I could have seen what happened; I don't have time to look for long while at work. I will re-state my question:

What is the purpose of these changes? How do these changes support the mission of CF?

I also don't understand the point of limiting the quantities in the shop. CF has over 75000 registered users, and all of those lost their username effects. According to the quantities in the shop only 98 every two weeks are allowed to change their username font. Even assuming there are only 1000 members who regularly come to the forum, it will take 20 weeks before all those users will be able to have their old username font back.

Well i guess we just got our username effects back. But, i also don't understand the point of having quantities of those. It's bad enough we have to pay for them.

I shut it down while I tweaked it.

It's working now.
