It makes some measure of sense if our creator is a Holy God. It also makes sense if our creator originally created humanity in His likeness after His image.

God is light and there can be no darkness in Him, thus we must be cleanse by the blood of the lamb to enter His habitation.


An ideal answer to the OP is "the straight gate"......

It's my opinion that Holiness is one of God's images that man lost when sin came into the world through Adam. Restoration of humanity to the tree of life, is God's plan for mankind.

I don't understand the question as phrased.

I know I'm not self-existent and nothing else around me caused itself. I describe God as the self-existent cause and means of our existence. There's no life outside of God; no other means of attaining or sustaining it.

That is why I haven't spoken of "a way"; I have only spoken of "the way."

We're not called to know everything. We called to know Jesus and all that His resurrection means to us. Especially to those of us who are not Jewish. Christ commissioned apostles to go to all the world and teach a message only the scriptures can show us what was said.

Here are biblical truths which Jesus mandated Peter to feed His sheep after the resurrection.

2Pe 1:2May God bless you with his special favor and wonderful peace as you come to know Jesus, our God and Lord,[fn2] better and better.

2Pe 1:3As we know Jesus better, his divine power gives us everything we need for living a godly life. He has called us to receive his own glory and goodness!

This may sound really stupid, but I thought the names of the gates weren't related to who could enter/leave through them.
