Hi People,
I'm new here, but not so in debating. Though I do enjoy debates and such I've become much of a lurker these days (Due mainly of time and lack of inspiration) . This sight looked interesting so I thought I'd join and see how it goes for a while. I think I'm going to enjoy this though.
Little about myself:
I'm biracial, my mother being white and from rural Oregon and my dad being black and from Nigeria.
My favorite thing to do is art. Give a piece of clay a pencil, pen, anything and I'll be happy.
I'm LDS (Most know it as Mormon) and Luv my Faith. Last year was sort of a spiritual awakening for me and I luv learning about faith and to meditate and ponder on things. I started seriously reading Scripture last year as well. If I chose my favorite thing to do faith wise it would be to take my walks at night where I spend twenty or thirty minutes just talking to G-d. No matter what's on my mind at the time I always come back from a walk in peace and love. If you've never tried it I'd recommend doing it.
Oh yes and I luv to learn about new things. I have a hobby of learning something and then trying to place it in with everything else I've learned sort of like a puzzle I guess. I think Learning is key in this life and enjoy it and change. I don't much worry about change since it'll always happen, and I don't really fear death since I see it just another part of life and growth. And I also believe in understanding people and their perspectives.
