  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hello, everyone. My name is Paul, almost 34 and I live in South Africa. I'm here primarily for guidance because I've been a bit insecure about my faith. I've been quite devout my entire life but there have been some questions I've been meaning to ask. I have a fiancee but I want my marriage to be one that has a foundation in Christ and I need to be secure in my faith before I can marry her. I'm looking forward to having some fruitful discussions.

Welcome to CF Paul. I'm sure you can get good advice, which would be basically to follow what Christ said to do, such as for example in a marriage to "forgive your brother or sister from your heart." is one of the things (we very much will need that in a marriage, sooner or later). Marriages last in part because the 2 are willing to forgive when needed.

My recently married Catholic friends had this wording I like: To put Christ at the center of our relationship. So, it's a 3 person relationship there.

Good site who focuses on security (among other areas concerning Eternal Life) in a believers life.

Welcome, I hope that you find this to be a fruitful place for your questions.
Thank you so much. I do have questions about my doubts regarding theology. Where would be a good place to post about them? They are more or less a collection of my own ruminations that have gone to a pretty critical place, so maybe I should talk to an admin before posting it?

Sure thing, I would be happy to send you a message to get the conversation started.

 Ecclesiastes 4:12: Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Hi and welcome my friend.
Secure in your faith? What does that mean to you
