The inclusion of Trump is what makes that funny. Which I suppose that's who I'll be voting for, unless something changes before Election Day. But yeah, I still wonder how he got there. (And he's not the only one I wonder about, just to be fair.)

The only thing that would've made this pic even funnier (because it IS funny!) would be a pic of Hillary. While Trump is a crazed demagogue, he actually won his primaries. Hillary bought super delegates thanks to Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. How many times did Bernie Sanders win and Hillary lost in a state and yet....she got the delegates? Ironically she is the thief, not Trump.

Point taken. Though I am on the verge of making it a rule not to discuss politics with anyone at this point (I've refrained from political memes and comments on FB and from participating in political threads here on CF, etc, but I may become even stricter with that because I'm starting to see rifts that should not be - and I'm also beginning to consider voting for a third party). But I didn't want to fail to reply to a quote.

I agree to a certain point. I'm at the point where I cannot in good conscience vote for either of these vile people. I live in the People's Republic of Kalifornistan anyway. A conservative vote means nothing. Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, San Diego, all the towns in the Gay Area, uh, I mean, Bay Area, Sacramento, it's all staunch hardcore Democrat. So I could vote 50 times for Trump and it wouldn't matter anyway! But to me this country is headed down a dark path. 2nd amendment is dying, liberals are going to load the Supreme Court, and the LGBTLMNOPQRSTUV hordes are firmly in control. Free speech is dying. We live in a post-Christian nation delving into socialism. In short---we're screwed. These days when I pray the "Our Father" I emphasize the 'THY KINGDOM, COME!" part more than ever!

"Thy Kingdom Come" - absolutely. And thankfully we trust in God. :) All things will work for our salvation. :)

Now, please forgive us Anhelyna. I don't want to derail your thread. As penance ;) I will now go search for a funny meme (though no promises - I've seen precious few that are actually amusing lately!)

And this one ... Is not really hilarious, but I like it. My cat watches from across the room when I eat, and as soon as I am finished, she runs over. She wants to be offered what I was eating. She sniffs, and almost never has ever eaten anything (she does like absolutely plain and clean shreds of white meat chicken, and plain tuna), but she acts offended if I don't show her what I ate.

When I used to eat sitting at the table for each meal, my table had a bench. She used to hop up and sit quietly beside me during the meal. Maybe because we used to sit as a family when I had my daughter and she was a kitten. But she always continued the practice, and always joins the table at meal time (never begging or getting up on the table or anything, just sitting straight in her spot beside me).

She's lying beside me right now. I'm still recovering from the blessed but very full weekend and three doctor appts yesterday.

I love my cat and sincerely thank God for her. She's been a tremendous comfort through many traumatic life events. :)

The kitty watching the food reminds me of a story told to me by my mother [ so that makes it almost pre-historic :D ]

When she was a young girl they had a regular Friday treat - on his way home from work her father used to call in at the local Butcher's and bought some home made meat pies - one for each member of the family and one for the dog !

One Friday evening they had an unexpected visitor and had to ask him to stay and eat with them. Seems everyone was enjoying the meal - except for the visitor !!

The dog [ I think his name was Nipper] was sitting on the floor beside his chair - watching every single piece of that meat pie as he cut it and ate it . The image I have, of a patiently seated dog just moving his head to watch the action of cutting the pie , and then the visitor putting the piece into his mouth and eating it , then Nipper moving his head again to watch the next bit ....

I just have to laugh about it :)

LOL! I'm sure the dog realized that it was its own meat pie the visitor was eating! Poor pup!

My cat only begs if I'm working with tuna on the countertop. I crush her pills if she ever needs any and mix them with tuna, so if I'm messing around with things up there and she can smell tuna, she thinks it's going to be for her!
