  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I will collect them where they are scattered nearby in the carpark and return them to a corral. I find the prevalence of Neutral Evil and Chaotic Neutral annoying.
Plus it is missing the term for trolley being used to wheel shopping home then leaving the trolley outside someone else's yard.

In retrospect, I've decided to call the above, "resident evil"

Ha! I've sometimes put on glasses only to be disappointed by the reality.

A bit off, but I used to like to browse Pinterest on my phone. Tiny pics. I'd see a GREAT idea, and then when I go to enlarge it, it's not what I thought. I'd want to save what I thought it was instead of the actual project.

Yes, it's also what BK named themselves in Oz... When they went to open there, there was already going concern, in one city there that had the rights to the name Burger King, in Australia.

I had wondered about that. Now they have to use a completely different advertising program from back home.
I witnessed a nice little advertising coup they had a while back. There are a few 24Hr McDonald's around which have Tv's playing a channel that provides music and the occasional news plus ads unrelated to McDonald's. Hungry Jacks must have taken note of the channel and bought air time for their own ads. Nothing like having the competition play your ads on their turf.
