The problem now is... The Olympics are over and still no disease. Have we a false prophet?

Read the original post, "GGWN has just posted an ALERT - forewarning from God [ confirmed by five disciples of Christ ] for all people and all nations for the Black Death - plague to begin in the Shandong Province of the Eastern Peoples Republic of China. The disease- plague will originate from the Great Gerbil and be spread via rodent-consuming carnivores - eagles. This area is close to where all the nations are gathered for the Olympics which will greatly increase the risk of spreading the plague world wide."

The last sentence merely points out a concern based on its locale. So the answer to your question is NO.

I certainly hope not. What we see happening is prophetic acceleration my friends, welcome to the speeding of the birth pangs, these aren't the fake ones. They are real. Exciting.

Here's a couple links connecting the great gerbils and the spread of the plague by these animals in nearby regions:
1. http://www.esa.org/pao/newsroom/pressReleases2007/08092007.php
2. http://focosi.immunesig.org/pathobacteria_yersiniapestis.html
3. http://health.howstuffworks.com/plague.htm/printable

If you can't find it, just search the word 'gerbil'. I really don't see how farfetched it is to believe an outbreak of the plague could happen, orininated by these animals in that part of the world, when it has happened before.

I wish I could worry about imaginary problems, like increasing birth pangs, or Giant Gerbil plagues, or God crushing the world with a giant foot, instead of having to live my life in a reality that is filled with real issues that not only affect me, but everyone else on the planet.

I envy all of you and your ease at disconnecting from reality.

I can see your saying that about the giant gerbil thing...

But to lump the obvious signs and times together with it as one big delusion?

Not wise, neither discerning. I guess you're more of the
"Where is the promise of His coming?" school of thought then, eh?

I know some of you dont believe in forwarnings from God and you sure dont believe in me or those in our group and thats ok the fact is i love you anyway because you are my brothers and my sisters in Christ. We have the same Lord and for this reason i respect each of you even if out thoughts or beliefs differ the fact we are family of the same Lord out weighs our differences. Its not our job to convince anyone arguee beliefs or anything else , we are just serving God how we feel God has guided us to serve. If you feel we are in error then as family please pray for us. If God guides you to help pray then please help pray. The truth is after delivering ten previous forwarnings from God and each have been fulfilled the need to prove anything to anyone may be well past, now its just a matter of beliefs and a need for prayer. I respect and love each and all of you even those who disagree. We deliver the warnings to the areas under threat of disaster the only reason its posted on a christian forum is for one reason and that is the hope that others will pray. we dont post here to change anyones beliefs nor to make anyone believe nor to argue our beliefs. With Love and respect Brother rod

Not everyone is disconnected from reality on here.

A true prophet speaks words that he/she did not piece together by material means, and had no idea about what they would say beforehand. They were GOD's words speaking at that moment.

So a lot of what people claim is prophecy anymore fails to actuallly resemble the pattern many of the prophets of old had happen through them.

When dealing with people and their ministries they say they have nowadays, we are to be bereans and search the scriptures constantly.

Um is that directed towards me... or? Are you saying what I said as delusion or the one who said to disconnect themselves from reality guy?

To be honest I just find things interesting. I'm more into my own projects at home and designing a developing ways to harvest wasted energy lol. Besides focusing on that and my own relationship with Him... The prophetic sides of things I just find interesting. Pointless to focus too much on. Of course lately I've been doing a little reading so I may say something in that nature.

I'm more of the focus on your relationship with Christ kinda guy and He'll take care of my daily life or if epic prophecies becoming fulfilled in a major way, either way He's got my back lol.

God picks sides, slaughtering some, saving others, infecting some with a horrible plague, while divinely preventing others from infection?

That's whacked, unjust and wicked.

Especially when you consider that you believe Jesus has your back in relation to some terrible event, yet tens of thousands of children who will suffer and die, will seemingly be without that same level of protection that you are so fortunate to claim.

Rod, I found this on your message board. There's only two days left for it to come true!

8/11/08 - Monday - 12:45pm

The 4th seal - the King of Persia

Fidel Castro will die in the storm

Jer 24 - "Believe!"

Time, times time and half time - the length of time the famine, plague and violence will continue (3 1/2 years)

Israel - hid her in the desert

Tibet is about to explode

Osama Bin Laden will surface.

**************************************
These words came back to me and I felt a completion on them.

A Prophesy - July 5th, 2008

Be alert and be aware. A storm is coming in August. A natural disaster that will put Katrina to shame. Tsunami like tides will devastate Mexico and the Gulf Coast. Tornadoes will be spawned from this storm and spin off into the mainland ripping paths of destruction. The oil rigs and refineries will be destroyed. Texas and Louisiana will be in desperate need. Fuel will be limited. There will black-outs and brown-outs throughout the US.
Mexico will look to the US for help but we will not be able to help them. Diplomatic rulers will come to them offering help but they will be wolves in sheep's clothing. Chavez (Venezuela) and Cuba will come into play. Beware.

Think about the implications of entertaining ourselves with whether a prophecy is accurate or not. What is the purpose of biblical prophecy? Usually to prevent danger and disillusionment. A call to repentance and prayer.

If the incident didn't happen, then that is a GOOD sign -- it means someone's prayers have done something about the forewarned situation.

When God tells us smaller things that we don't consider prophecy, we usually heed the still small voice and pray over what we sensed. We allow for mistakes in our hearing, and move on. Ideally, we spend some time in prayer to respond to what we were informed of.

But when the title of prophecy is stuck onto the package, we suddenly turn into observers and critics. We should not change who we are as Christians, or how we respond to information.

God has placed His power within us. Let's do something with it!

We are not in the business of being right.
Instead, we are called to help people through His strength and presence within us.

You're right, but look sometime at what prophecy is. There was always an alternative. In the Old Testament, most of the words were warnings to people who had severely oppressed others, and took pride in getting away with it. The prophecy was a call to change.

Warnings from God also include the option to change a situation through prayer. Protect people through preparation. If we know about the Gulf coast ahead of time, we can invite friends who live down there to stay with us. Our churches can start collecting supplies and response teams before the crisis hits. Residents can have a better sense of whether to board up or run. A prophecy is not a spiteful declaration of destruction -- it is a warning for our protection and well-being.

Our perception depends on our view of prayer. If people believe that prayer has an effect on circumstances (other than calming oneself), then there is hope in a warning.

The Bible does say that the sun scorches the heads of the just and the unjust alike. It rains on the good and the bad. Good or bad we both come to the same end, death. Don't blame God, its sin that entered this world. Sin is at work and its sin that kills us. At least that's the way I look at it.

I don't see God as a flly swatter kind of guy. He isn't throwing lightening bolts of death at those who disobey. I think He's letting us reap what we sow, be there for us if we let Him, Love accordingly, guide accordingly, but otherwise I don't think His righteous judgment is as blind as some holy rolliers like to say.

But I could be wrong.

I just believe, provided whatever I survive, He'll still be there for me.

Then why pray? It sounds like your damned if you do and your damned if you don't.

Why not just sit back and let God do whatever it is He wants to do. ' Thy will be done.'

No?

Rod! You PROMISED! You need rest, and these people are only going to make your blood pressure raise. Please? I can't babysit you all the time. Don't worry about what these people say. Just rest and get stronger, okay?
