New Feature: Social Bookmark Icons (Digg, Del.icio.us) at Bottom of Threads

Hi

I've added automatic buttons at the top and bottom of all public threads for members of social bookmarking sites like Digg and Del.icio.us to be able to easily add threads to those sites.

NOTE: These are NOT ads - Foru.ms does not get paid for this - this is a way for members to bookmark threads using those sites, that is all.

Some people think the Social Bookmark links are ads for the site! I've made the bookmark links smaller and removed the text links - it should be heaps better now.

Also added the "Add this thread to" text so people understand what those icons are. Put your mouse over them to see which web bookmark you are adding the thread to.

I really dislike the bookmark links, even when they are smaller. I would also suggest an option to turn them off.

I like that they're smaller now and at the bottom of the page. It seems to get rid of that "cluttered" look, while still allowing members to utilize their features.

I agree with Letalis,they don't bother me at all,though I have no use for them,many people may.

Turn off option seems to be a must for all the features

They look pretty at the bottom of the threads, thats as much as I know.

Much better small, and at the bottom of the page... but I see a problem with the buttons being there on the pages of peoples' blogs. Some blogs are intensely personal, and it's one thing to share "publicly" within a safe community you're a part of, but I'm not sure many people would want others deciding their blog - potentially - could be open for everyone on the neenernet to see.

What they are for is to add threads to bookmarking sites so that other people who use those bookmarking sites can find them. It might help to draw those people into this forum because they will go to digg or del.icio.us or whatever and see threads that people have linked from here.

I still want an option to not have to see them on my screen though.
