Welcome. I'm late getting here, but welcome. We have had tons of rain & wind from TS Arlene today. I have enjoyed it very much. I put the 2 preschool grandchildren on the screened back porch , sat in my swing, read the paper & entertained the kids. It has been very pleasant since I did not have to get out in it ! I just took a casserole out of the oven, the clothes are washed, etc. I can just enjoy the kids tonight! Hope everyone else has a nice night too!

I enjoyed Arlene's rain too. There wasn't really any wind to speak of. The rain was kinda off and on. It's very peculiar that we didn't get more than that considering how close Arlene came to us. And the east side is supposed to be the worst, too.

Oh, guess I better listen to the news tonight. Since you only got rain, I wonder if it'll fizzle out before Monday. For your sakes I'm glad it wasn't a hurricane, but I pray we get our soaking rain and cooldown. The boys and Don are back from church. It's tme to log off. Have a blessed Sunday.

Well, the rain hasn't showed up, so I guess we were must. Hope it cools off anyway. My son's MRI is next Sunday, not today. Don't know where the confusion was.

Oh, to have a screened porch. I remember growing up, two of my aunts had them. They're great.

Screened in porches are the best but cats can do some serious damage.

When my boys became too big to cuddle on my lap, I tried to fill the void with cats. I love the snuggles and company, but my couch was ruined by the "fixed" male peeing on it. I cried when I gave him back to the shelter because he was sooo tolerant of my youngest son and so loving.

Well, we finally got a little rain and the temps are perfect; highs it 70s. Good weather for taking walks---or should I say scoots?

Go down to your local shelter and adopt a cat that has been declawed. I do not recommend anyone declaw a cat though. Once I found out how it is done and what they really have to do, I have decided it is very cruel. But there are cats that has already been declawed and need loving homes.

^_^ actually i am envious of my grandmothers cat, lolol, so i want hers instead, all for my own; she is 90 years old though; her cat is a 2 year old siamese cat who loves me and purrs on my lap whenever i visit there; he was found in the wild of the forest, living off of bugs as a kitten, and climbed into my brother's van when he and his wife were on vacation; before that i hated cats, but not anymore

Yes, the Lord blessed us. The axle broke and we only have to pay our deductible. We feared a larger repair.

The weather is absolutely delightful--highs in the 70s. A great day for scootermom to
take my scooter and go out by myself; that's exactly what I did. Then a friend came by and we sat outside at the patio table and had a peaceful chat. It improves my mood much to enjoy some solitude and independance on my scooter, thus my handle,
scootermom. My friends call me Marsha.

Clawing doesn't help the spraying. Neither does fixing the male. My male was a lovey-dovey, but the females peed less outside the litterbox.

Ladies, a friend from another forum husband committed suicide. Please say a prayer for SM.

Hi, :( I will be saying a prayer tonight for your friend S.M. whose husband just committed suicide. :prayer: Scootering sounds like so much fun.

birdie. :)
