Yes, science doesn't tend to have much on things that can't be shown to be real and which are indistinguishable from things that don't exist.
Someone that doesn't understand cosmology I see...

Let's talk about multiverses, dark matter, dark energy, neutron stars, strange matter, and the list of Fairie Dust goes on and on and on.....

Yep, I've seen the quality of religious (especially YEC) "Study", suspect to say the least - He was already a long-term claimant of Faith when he left, you're advocating he continue to pretend he believes by going to Church even though he doesn't, are you not?
No, no one asks that he claim to continue to believe, but then it is that one lost sheep the sheepherder tries to gather back to the fold, not the other 99 that have not left.

Would you advocate that position for someone doubting the Jewish or Islamic faiths?
Most certainly. How is someone to find out if their doubt is genuine, or merely misplaced if they don't continue to learn and study?

Would you read two conflicting science theories then refuse to read anymore science because you now had doubt as to which one might be correct? Forego all learning because you had doubts as to a models correctness?

""The IBEX results are truly remarkable! What we are seeing in these maps does not match with any of the previous theoretical models of this region.""

So all models are incorrect, so you agree we should just give up on science and stop going to school to further our knowledge.....

Response to blanket denials and ad hominem responses that fail to respond to the subject of the post:

"When people have actual reasons for disagreeing with you, they offer those reasons without hesitation. Strangers on social media will cheerfully check your facts, your logic, and your assumptions. But when you start seeing ad hominem attacks that offer no reasons at all, that might be a sign that people in the mass hysteria bubble don’t understand what is wrong with your point of view except that it sounds more sensible than their own." - Scott Adams

So I understand you don't understand what is wrong with my viewpoint except it sounds more sensible than your own, hence your lack of reasons addressing the post.....

So they are simply the most outspoken, not necessarily the predominant viewpoint? Even if they were, does majority opinion mean correct in science or religion????? Harlen Bretz or Kristian Birkeland are prime examples of majority does not equal correct. Along with Newton, Kepler, Copernicus, Galileo......

I don't know if young-Earth creationism is the majority opinion among creationists or not. It certainly seems that way, but it's also possible that YECs are just the most organized and well-funded.

Either way, it's definitely the most prominent form of creationism in the United States. For example, I don't think there have been any old-Earth creationist projects of a similar scale to RATE, or any old-Earth creationist attractions of a similar scale to AiG's Creation Museum or Ark Encounter. That's why my book focuses on the YEC movement in particular. It has nothing to do with who's correct or incorrect. (As a theistic evolutionist, I'd assume that I disagree with old-Earth creationists about fewer topics than I do with YECs, since I presumably don't disagree with them about the age of the Earth.)

Learn what ad hominims are, seriously.

You keep using those words. I don't think they mean what you think they mean.

So no need to keep going to Church after all then, cool.

Because how will these Jewish and Muslim apostates come to an understanding of God if the religion they persist with, happens to be the wrong one? Their Rabbis and Imams aren't going to tell them "Oh, perhaps this is the wrong religion and some other religion is the one true religion...", or do you think that multiple and mutually exclusive religions can be the "one true religion" at the same time? You're not making any sense...

If the models are incorrect, then they get discarded if they serve no purpose in the mean time. That's how Science works, and it has worked like this since the dawn of the scientific method. That's no reason to give up Science though, because Science is a method to sort fact from fiction, it's what gives us all the modern conveniences you enjoy, all the food you eat and all the longevity and health that goes with it. To give up science because a model isn't right shows your ignorance about what science is - you might as well be saying you'll just give up on civilisation and humanity at the first friend you lose.

Same with religion, if you can no longer believe the religion you're in, then staying there in an effort to self-deceive isn't the way forward. Try another religion, or no religion at all for what its worth, and seek others until the right religion delivers conviction of belief to you.
