Thanks, Greg, I appreciate your input. My only problem right now is finding people or a preacher who will come into my home to study the Bible.

Hi The Walker,
You should try the LCMS (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod). Their Pastors generally make house calls and will also offer communion. You can search for a church in your area using the locator found here: http://locator.lcms.org/nchurches_frm/church.asp. Let me know if you have any questions.

God bless,
John

Welcome to the forum and to the Body of Christ!

My wife is disabled as well and can't attend a regular church service. We have been blessed with being able to Skype with a fellow believer throughout the week, to get together for devotionals and then again on Sabbath for Bible study and further study. We have been doing this for over 10 years now and have grown immensely in our faith. As you said, where two or more are gathered...

If you are a reader, this series of books may help you gain a deeper Biblical understanding in addition to your Bible readings. We have been blessed with their insight into the life of Jesus (Desire of Ages), the early Bible characters (Patriarchs and Prophets, and Prophets and Kings) and the history of the Christian age from the apostles to our days (The Great Controversy).

Also, here's a couple of posts I just made that will help as well...

Thanks for the links I'll check them out. I appreciate anything anything that will better educate me on Christianity. I hadn't thought of Skype. That is a good idea as to how to be able to have fellowship with other Christians. Thank you once again.
