• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Most of the time I try to think of ways to please my wife. She is the most important person in this world to me. I'm stuck at this moment as a matter of fact so if you have any ideas i'd sure like to hear them. What can a husband do to make his wife smile?:help: ;)

Well, let's see.....*ahem*
Whatever you decide on needs to make her feel special.
Back rubs are nice...
Maybe even helping with a few chores around the house.
You're choices really are unlimited as long as you show that it's done for love.

Hope this helps,

Those are both good ideas but I've already thought of those. Is there something out of the ordinary that you can think of? I really like to surprise her with something every day. It's getting increasingly hard to find something different each time. I really like to make her smile and show her how much I love her.

*clears throat again*

why not start by doing something like sending her a 'virtual kiss'?

maybe something like a single flower (bought or not) or a bouquet of wildflowers? :pink:

sometimes what you say along with the ordinary gifts and devotions mean more than the act itself. Come up with an unusual phrase to go with the gift of a coke or candy bar from the store?

Hi Danny B ... I think it is great that you want to make your wife smile! You sure made me smile. I personally smile over; bedmaking, e-mails from work, coming up behind me while I am doing dishes and hugging me, dandelion bouquets and little notes under my pillow!

I agree with waitsonthelord.....little notes are pretty cool!
Placing notes around the house for her to find would be a great show of devotion.
Don't forget to use some unique phrasing.
I have thought about making a special desktop for him and let him discover it the next time he logs on.
