Days later, she went to the Dignity Health — St. Rose Dominican Hospital Emergency Department, where she was treated and told to follow up, but not given a pelvic exam or seen by an obstetrician-gynecologist, according to the lawsuit.

The liability is with the hospital. This is just another case of women’s complaints and health not taken serious by medical providers. That is the real issue. Discussing the abortion pills or PP is just distraction in an article from the hospitals mal practice, with motive to vilify an abortion method that is very safe.

You're right. Despite the implication of the OP, the lawsuit is against the hospital. From the OP:

The lawsuit isn’t against the maker or provider of the abortion pills. At Planned Parenthood, Ms. Dixonwas “appropriately counseled about the risks of the abortion medication,” according to an expert declaration filed with the lawsuit.
