I have been with out a way of going. So, we have not been attending church. I have been having church for my kids on Sunday morning. I will print activities & bible stories off the computer for the to do. I can tell my kids are learning for it. But, I have not be getting what I need from this. I have been praying about it. And I believe that the Lord has placed me without a vehicle to show me how valuable church is. But, I also believe that the van I saw in the classified is going to be a blessing to my family. I just pray that this is the right vehicle for us.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi, how old are your kids?
Sometimes God does things we don't understand and then look back and maybe realise why he did what he did.
The van would be a lovely thing to have and I hope you get it.
I know how you feel because sometimes my transport is limited too.

Praying that things work out with the van.
Until then, check with some local churches. Many will provide rides for those who need it - whether by bus, van, or a church member living close by who wouldn't mind picking you up. I think it's great that you have been doing church at home with your kids!!!

Oh, I am also without transportation quite often so I know how that feels! I have found that there are many people who are very willing to stop and pick us up though. Is there anyone at church you could call to ask?
In the meantime, why not do your own bible study? Right now one of my bible studies is using "The Measure of a Woman" which has questions at the end of each chapter. I've used a lot of books like that. You can get them in the library, order them at www.cbd.com or borrow them. There are tons of online bible studies as well. I can't suggest anything specific, but I think I saw a few at www.crosswalk.com
OH! Why not listen online!! My church has each Sunday service recorded online: www.cffchurch.org. This past Sunday's service was awesome! You can listen until you get that van!
