I'm so glad to hear the good news! God does answer prayer. I will relay the good news to all of my family.

Lainie, from a couple of post back, would I be correct in believing that your son's name is Riley? The answer to that qustion being assusmed I must say; Riley please be carefull when climbing rock walls. Your mother can't take too many of this kind of experiance. At your age you will heal, your mother on the other hand may have a nervous breakdown.

I relayed your message to Riley and he said "tell Doc it was an inflatible climbing wall....but I still got the message loud and clear!" LOL!

If it hadn't been an inflatible type thing, I have no doubt we'd be looking at a shattered ankle instead of just a badly torn ligament!

And yes, God certainly does answer prayer!!

I didn't expect to hear from my son's pediatrician today because he's a Sabbath keeper and his office is closed today, BUT they called and said my son does NOT have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

In fact, my son's blood test was BEAUTIFUL and he's very healthy!

Thanks for all the prayers and Doc, thank you so much for talking me through such a scary time!

Thank you DRL! He's doing a week's worth of make-up homework right now and talking about how unfair it is to have ALL this work.

He's going to be fine. He just has to wear the air cast for about a month and then wear it every time he plays sports, for a year.

Amen!! I wasn't sure what I was going to do if my son did have the syndrome, but I knew I wasn't going to do ANYTHING without God's guidance.

I've tried living life without His guidance, it didn't work out so well.
