Animals sacrifices were done, with the sacrifice of Christ, but sacrifices are not done away.

We are to be living sacrifices and we are to sacrifice our time and subtance to help others. The prayers of the saints are seen by God as sweet incense like those burned on the Alter in the OC times.

What one puts into their mouths is absolutely WORTHLESS to perform the requirements of the Law, which is to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Many in Israel followed the LAW OF SIN that was a direct result of exposure to FLESHLY LAW...which then resulted in JUDGMENTS of every sort falling upon them...which is the END GAME of fleshly LAW...

Many legalists of the fleshly order openly take ALL THE BLESSINGS that come with the LAW, but ignore in its' entirety THE OPEN CURSINGS the Law also contains if not followed in PERFECT PERFORMANCES....

Such is the dead end of the Law...for ALL who practice 'external obedience' in ignorance of what the LAW cannot do for them...

LOVE...

The LAW was WEAK because of the weakness the flesh contains. That weakness is revealed in everyone who seeks to follow same in fleshly external mannerisms of any sort.

Love is not defined, contained or STOPPED by any such observances.

Those who LOVE will be 'justified' under THE LAW regardless of their external observances. And those who seek justifications of ANY SORT under that same Law will be CONDEMNED for their LACK OF LOVE, the FULL REQUIREMENT of every LAW.

We have passed from Judgement through Christ and are Justified. You are still hung up on works to justify oneself.. Filthy rags says the Lord.

Works are no justification... Just one less thing to be judged on...The Lord may wink at those who know not, but will call on all to obedience of His Word,.. and you are judged by Him for that.

We have read The New High Priest does not ministers the law.
Sacrifices for sins are done away with, because Jesus sacrificed only once and for all times.
Moses was the minister and mediator of the Old Covenant
The apostles were ministers of the New Covenant and Jesus Christ is the mediator of the the New Covenant.

The sacrifice of worship and praise are not required as ceromonials, it comes from a heart that is truly free in Jesus Christ.
Loving our neighbors with our time and substances come from a heart of love, rather than works for righteousness sake.

If you have a vehicle and the manual says.. only use a certain type of fuel.. don't you thin that the creator of the vehicle would know what his design can handle?

Excellent point Vis! If you don't mind I'm going to borrow that from you! The transmission fluid is for the transmission, the motor oil for the engine, the radiator coolant goes in the radiator, etc.

When the manufacturers says use 92 octane in the gas tank the warranty will be void if you use bacon grease. Props to you!

And beef has worms,and a high uric acid content.And not only that,but the fish has mercury.

Haen't you heard? Smog in California isn't what it used to be thanks to cleaner burning vehicles and all the smog restrictions?

I live in the Mojave Desert where we average 330 days a year of clean, pure sunshine! No smog problems in the desert.

Yes it does, which probably explains why I don't eat a lot of either. Of course, God prohibits pig, not beef or fish.

We might not know all the reasons that God puts a No sign on certain actions, deeds, or thoughts,.. but we are to still obey and in faith trust Him... He knows why and what He is doing... and says it is for our sanctification... keeping the temple holy.
