1. When do you feel most connected with your natural environment? Why?
When I'm going for a walk through the park - because I see nature all around me.
When I'm looking at the sky by night - because it reminds me of how small and unimportant I am and that God created everything around me for us.

2. When do you feel most DISconnected from your natural environment? Why?
When I'm walking trough the city and see all those cars and streets and houses - because there is nothing of our natural enviroment left.

3. What type of environmental conservation (if any) do you believe is important? Why?
I believe it'svery important to safe the enviroment because we life from it and if we destroy it there will be nothing to live from for the ones who come after us. God created it all for us to be part of, live on it and enjoy it, and not to destroy it like we seem to do now. :sigh:

Hope this helps you.
be blessed

1. When do you feel most connected with your natural environment? Why?
When I'm out in country side riding my bike or cruise around on country road. When I can see the mountains, the valleys, where i can see some animals. Also I feel more connected when I get caught outside during a rain storm. It's feeling the rain against your skin. It freashnesss of the air.

perhaps at work when I can not see anything. when I stuck behind a desk for hrs. or when I need to go near a factory and all you hear is the clang of the machines. It's because you seem to be cut off from the sights and sound of nature. The air is not the same air you smell out in the country

I think it's imporant to have areas protected. I think cities could do a better job of Land management. Land, nature is a limited resource once it is used up you can not produce any more.

2. When do you feel most DISconnected from your natural environment? Why?

Well, I'm a country boy at heart, Wiltshire through and through, so...
1. When I'm running across Salisbury Plain, or paddling down the Kennet and Avon canal in my kayak. Even just walking through Devizes or Marlborough on a sunny day. Why? I think because I've associated the area with home. What you have to understand is that as an Army Brat, we moved every couple of years, so for me to associate home with a place, rather than just a house, is quite big.

2. When I'm in London. I think it's why I'm struggling here. I can't stand the pollution and the noise. There's nothing much natural left in London, I think is the problem.

3. Stopping the expansion of cities. We need the countryside for agriculture. A lot of our economy depends on it. The more we expand our cities, the less we get from that. Plus, more city equals more pollution, more power needed, etc.

(And before someone shouts,"but where will people live?", sorry, that's another issue altogether. Talk to immigration. There has got to be a balance, and right now, there isn't one.)

1. When do you feel most connected with your natural environment? Why?
When I'm out taking a walk, hiking, or climbing a mountain. It's just me, whoever I'm with, and God's creation. No civilization in sight whatsoever.

2. When do you feel most DISconnected from your natural environment? Why? When I'm at work. No windows, stuffy air.

3. What type of environmental conservation (if any) do you believe is important? Why?

Everything practical. I believe in recycling as much as possible. I believe all of our waste should be tightly controlled as to where it goes and stays. I believe in certain regulations for waste output as long as it is done scientifically. The radical environmentalists have discredited themselves in this area for years. We should have a level head about this, not turning it into some religious crusade (that is what they have done). For example, stop harping about global warming. There is a good amount of evidence to suggest that it is a natural progression, not a man-made phenomenon. And before you get all riled up about what I just said, consider that I believe in protecting the environment on principle not because of some "looming threat." I just want the woods to be unspoiled and available for future generations to enjoy. I want the ecosystems God created to continue to function (or in some cases, return to functioning) as He intended.

1. When do you feel most connected with your natural environment? Why?
Camping

2. When do you feel most DISconnected from your natural environment? Why?
When I am in the middle of Boston, and its cloudy outside in the winter, because its depressing. Spring and summer cheer me up because of the sun and the trees.

3. What type of environmental conservation (if any) do you believe is important? Why?
Alternative fuel. 1 because of the emissions, 2 because the cost of gas is way to high for a poor college student like me

1. When do you feel most connected with your natural environment? Why? When I'm doing something concerning the environment, be it camping, hiking, biking, horseback riding, or just stargazing or looking out across the hills at the sunset. I feel connected because I realise that THIS is what we're always missing, when we go about our busy days. We never realise that we were meant to be here, in the country, glorifying God's work.

2. When do you feel most DISconnected from your natural environment? Why? When I'm in the city, being forced to sit and wait in a crowded waiting room, or walk down streets jampacked full of people rushing to and fro, or breathing the unclear polluted city air. Because this isn't how people are supposed to live. Life is meant to be more natural, not so contrived and technological. I'm not rooting for going back to Colonial days, but I think being more in tune with our environment and its needs would be better than creating larger and dirtier cities.

3. What type of environmental conservation (if any) do you believe is important? Why? Alternative fuel as someone ^^ said, crop rotation, tree planting, conservation of the rain forest (rawrr), recycling ... basically anything practical and common sensical.

Yeh ... I am a tree hugger :p

3. What type of environmental conservation (if any) do you believe is important? Why?
I think that it's important to use natural resources in a responsible and sustainable manner so that there will be resources available for many generations.

1. When the sky is at its bluest and clearest state and when I get to relax and stair at its beauty and ponder. Why.. It humbles me.

2. When I'm in a crowed of people. Why... I'm not sure why, maybe because everyone is in there on little worlds.

3. I'm not to sure. Maybe everyone on earth needs to realize we need to clean up this planet, in any way we can.

Whenever I'm outside in the sun, working in the yard, planting things, especially when the sun's out, and the birds are singing.

2. When do you feel most DISconnected from your natural environment? Why?

Whenever I'm cooped up inside for long periods of time, like when I'm studying in the library and can't get out and hear birds singing, dogs barking, or the plants blooming.

3. What type of environmental conservation (if any) do you believe is important? Why?

I think it's important to leave the world a little better than we found it. So I think we need to do things like restoring estuaries, replacing invasive plants with local flora, and planting environmentally friendly plants around our homes. I also think it's important to save as many large natural open areas as possible.

Hope this helps and thanks for asking!

1. When do you feel most connected with your natural environment? Why?
I certainly feel most connected when I'm flying. Part of it is the fact that humans flying really is something UN natural. lol The other part is the incredible things I am able to see from up there. The fact that you can have some VERY big bumps up in the air that are completely invisible always amazes me.

2. When do you feel most DISconnected from your natural environment? Why?
This too is related to flying ironically... but I certainly feel most disconnected from my natural environment during IMC. (Instrument Meteorlogical Conditions... ie. flying in clouds) As safe as it is with my training and everything, nothing really feels "right" when flying through clouds and/or thick fog.

3. What type of environmental conservation (if any) do you believe is important? Why?
I believe they're all important. It would be nice to have cheaper gas, but even better to have something less harmful to the environment.
