Need prayers for finding faith...

I'm not sure what is going on with my lately... I've never once doubted the existence of God. I am 17 years old now and I am starting to feel something like a blockage in my faith. It's not that I am outright saying He does not exist... Deep inside I know he does, but it's like my brain is at war with my heart. I don't know what to do... I want to TRULY believe like I once did and not go on like this anymore. I'm getting headaches from it now... I just don't know what to do.

Kat,
Even the Apostle Paul experienced this 'war between the mind and the spirit'. Read Romans 7 where Paul openly admits his struggle with sin.

Also, know that God has given us a simple formula for times when we struggle in this way.

1. Submit yourself to God; draw near to him, and He will draw near to you.
2. Resist the enemy.
3. The enemy will flee.

Father God, I pray for Kat and ask that You settle once and for all her fears and anxieties concerning You and your existence. Help her to become stronger and greater in your presence. Cause the enemy to flee from her thoughts and settle her mind so that she will rest in You alone. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

I am sure this might be a normal thing for most especial doing this age. Stay as strong as you can. I am sure you will get back to you faith as you were before. I have had a tough time with this for many years, now I am finding my way back, just stay true and have faith "God Bless Kat" Amen
