Cloudyday I guess it's important to not think about religion nor faith on days that you know you aren't thinking rationally.... but choose a day when you are more clear-headed and others agree? At that point I wouldn't push it much though. I don't know why some people's brain chemistry goes awry but like all maladies we have, it goes back to original sin... the human was perfect when first made. ;)

On a good day you can see forever... Speak to God then about His love for you... ask Him to forgive you and to help you cope with this unwellness. Place it into His hands and leave it there.

:prayer: Father in heaven, only You know what cloudy needs at this point. I ask that in Your magnificence that You reach him and calm his thoughts and mind and give Him Your peace.

I had some sort of mental breakdown in 2009 similar to delusional disorder. I have a hard time knowing what to believe about reality since that happened. Usually it's o.k. but sometimes it comes back and makes me feel like I want to check out of this life. Part of my delusions involved insects spying on me, and I saw a suspicious insect this morning and that bothered me. It's silly. ^_^

The worst thing is how it interferes with believing Christianity properly.
I don't think it's silly at all friend. In fact I feel for you. The worst thing in the world is not being able to trust what you know to the point where you think your crazy. Can I ask you this. Do you believe in Jesus? Do you have faith in him, who he was and what he did? Knowing that what he said and did were true. This is important because this is all you need. You know it's true and it's all true. Don't worry again dear friend. In the name of Jesus you are healed. You are free from this. Your faith in him has made you free from this prison you were in. God Bless you.

I started this thread several years ago, but I still have these types of problems. Believing in Jesus is a slippery slope that reopens questions about memories that I prefer to dismiss as hallucinations. It's hard to explain. I must compartmentalize to function. There is the Christian compartment and the atheist compartment.
