Need info on the Fayeteville NC area

Greetings,

I am looking for some info on the Fayeteville, NC, area. My job might take me out to the region. I know that Fayeteville is right outside the gates of Ft. Bragg, but I do not want to live in another "Army town." But, I've never been to Fayeteville, so I don't know anything about it. Is it a decent place to live? Are there some parts that are better than others? Are the schools good? Are there any websites I can go to for more info?

Clayton is a small city between it & Raleigh, but closer to Fayetteville where my older sister just recently moved from.

How nice it is depends on whether you prefer COUNTRY, rural but some stores/companies (including a Bojangles & storage warehouses) + churches, or CITY with walls, walls, polution, lots of traffic lights, & TALL buildings.

Last I saw it, it was in the rural catagory.

I do NOT know about schools, because my sister does not have any kids yet (got married just this September).
