  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It depends what sort of name you want; one that describes her appearance; one that describes her character; a feminine sounding one, or naming her after a favourite actress/model/tv programme etc etc. Eg if you are a saop fan you could call her Corrie.

Hi, I have had many cats in many years. Right now we have four the oldest of which is 15. Sometimes we pick a name based upon what the cat looks like or the breed but I think I prefer a name which reflects their character. Right now we have a Maine Coon Cat who has a fancy feline name, but we call her Gusty because she moves like a little gust of wind. Our black and white female we had years ago we called Blitzy which means lightning because she was all black with just a white steak on her face which looked liked lightning. Had a male once, her father, who looked the same as her and called him Blitzkrieg which meant "lightning war" and he lived up to it. My favorite name of all was Popi....a gorgeous Siamese....she was just as sweet and pretty as her name sounds and lived with us 12 years.
