Need help finding a quote

Maybe someone here can help me out. I believe there's a quote or quotes in the bible where God/Jesus is referred to being "the lover of my soul" or something like that. I'd REALLY appreciate it if someone can point me to the right quote. Thanks.

I believe there is a Charles Wesley hymn with the title, "Jesus, Lover of My Soul". But as to Scripture ... ? I'll take a look. Perhaps John 15:9 would be close?
