the best thing about need for speed is that u can run from the cops used to be one of my fav games.

It's not quite as...thrilling as doing it for real but then if you crash or get caught, you just hit reload. I need to check it out, myself. I don't have any driving games at all for either xbox or pc.

I could care less about out runing the cops. but from seeing how they cops on this game are jerks..scratching the players car with thare keys...i would love to run them off the road/out run them.

But i would rather have full auto as my 1st 360 raceing game.

LA rush sucks.

Racing games boil down to this:

1) Great cars with great handling and crazy mods.
2) Realistic physics and beautiful graphics.
3) Insane amounts of modes to play.

So I ask you this? What do you think qualifies as a great racing game?

My picks:
1) GT4 by far. The most cars, the game is even more visually impressive than the 360's NFS:MW on 1080i on a widescreen LCD. The amount of tracks and gaming physics is simply amazing. GT5 or Forza 2 will likely top this, but I'm expecting a lot of things from GT5.
2) Forza Motorsports rocks. Custom soundtrack, a few types of racing, its the best Xbox racer to date.
3) NFS: Underground 2 - More true to street racing and the import/mod scene than most games, takes racing to a whole new and more organized level.
4) Midnight Club 3 is dubbed Dub City. Say that twenty times fast.
5) NFS:MW is the 360's premier racer. Project who?

Thanks for the link. I seen them and it looks very interesting. I don't think it might be as good as some of the other racing games. I personally prefer the midnight Club Series. Need for Speed has lots of customization categories and what not, but when it comes to the gameplay, it is rated a 4.5 out of 10 on my scale.

I heard rumors going on about a Grand Turismo 5 coming out for the PS3. Take in mind that it is not a racing game, it is a SIMULATOR. I promise you, anything you can do in that game, you can do in reality, it is that real.

Hopefully, when my freinds get the game, they tell me its better than the other Need for Speed games.

I think raceing games should look great, But i still love to play classics like the legend of zelda and the N64 ones. But new games need to keep up with game makers when it comes to game graphics.
