Okay so I just graduated high school an I don't have a car I really need one for college but I don't have the money I have 1000 an I have one job going on 2 would it be right to make a go fund me account in order to get enough money to get a car or would it be wrong an would God be upset because I really do need help but I'm just not sure if it would be wrong any advice

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't think God is for it or against it....but many people do see it as "begging". Have you ever donated to someone's else "go fund me"? Also, realize that this is considered "income" and you get taxed on it and it will count as income on your financial aid forms.
Why do you "need" a car? I would recommend that you just keep saving until you can find a car you can afford. Remember that owning a car is expensive even after you have the keys in hand...there is insurance and regular maintenance at the very least. I know I seldom get out of the repair shop with my older cars for less than $500 and that is taking it in before anything actually breaks. The last few visits have cost $800-900 for just things that had worn out but needed to be repaired if I wanted to keep the car in good working order (both cars needed new front drive shafts). My newly acquired newest "used" car needed new brake rotors and a front tie rod w/ alignment. That was just under $500.
My son's insurance (he is 19) costs me $200 a month (mine is half that for the same coverage since I am older). That includes his good student discount and that he never has had a claim in 3 years of driving.

Get a 3 wheel bicycle at Wal-Mart. I like the gray one and they run $260 shipped to your local store.
Then go to eBay and order a 80cc 2 stroke bicycle motor and put it on your 3 wheel bicycle. They run less than $150 with everything you need.
But you will have to have a welder weld the final drive gear to the back wheels axle which will run about $40.
Here is one on a two wheel bike.
You do not need a license or insurance and you get about 100 miles per gallon and they do about 25 to 30 MPH.
Before you get one let me know so you can learn from my mistakes.
