Need a Logo

Hey there,

I need a logo... one that can be easily changed if needed.

Idea-

I want a logo that incorporates 2 themes... That we are a new creation (butterfly) and having our hearts captured by Christ.

This is for a ministry called Captured Heart Ministries.

I will give some blessings, though I don't have many, to whoever comes up with the BEST logo for my ministry. Thanks!

Well, I made one, its quite simple yet looks pretty good... Is it close to what you're looking for, feel free to critique What you like, what you dont like...

I couldnt really think of a way to to incorporate hearts being captured by christ into this design...

I like how you used the butterfly.

I would be interested to see the butterfly (open winged) in the middle, in the background and bigger. I don't know how this will look.

Alright here we go I made several

1) Butter fly light and bigger in BG I think maybe i should make the butter fly a bit darker, but too dark and the words/picture get all jumbled.

Wow, first time I heard of photobucket... nice service.

Here's my go at it with vectors... the butterfly wings are a little out of shape and I didn't want it to look like they were attached to Jesus, but it does.

As for colors, I just grabbed a few pre-made sets from PSP. I'm not good at selecting colors

PS. I used Jess's butterfly wings as templates

Wow.. I am very impressed by all of the designs... This decision is a hard one, and therefore I am going to talk to my fiance and let him look at them and help me decide. But, since you all helped us out so much I will be giving you each some blessings.

I really like the changes you made. I think the darker one looks nicer, but I also like the heart. I like yours cause it is simple... can be used for letterhead, etc.... but can also be complemented by the more colored logos.

I like yours as well. Here is an observation though, and it could be completely me. I read from left to right on the same line and then go to the next line. So to ME it reads "Captured Ministries Heart" but, this is why my fiance is going to look at it as well cause it could be just me.

Michael,

I like the color scheme of the second one and the fact that you used a picture of Jesus. The only thing I don't like is the rose, unless it were white.

Again, I like the simplicity of your design and the initials CHM will be used a lot.

OK not all that creative but maybe this can help you nonetheless...

The first two are not all that creative and are much the same, just different sized butterflies. The third thumbnail and the last pic are much the same but the writing has moved around a bit... and the fourth thumbnail is a letterhead or web title you might use if you chose to use the third thumbnail or that last pic.

SOME DESIGN NOTES;
- in keeping with the whole idea of creation, I chose the rainbow colours to symbolise that, and for us as redeemed people, it also signifies regeneration (you know, the rainbow after the rain!).
- note the last three images: at the heart of the butterfly is the cross. At the heart of us as Christians, and the heart of our "rainbow" of regeneration is Christ.
