  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Making progress guys. Stayed at my Auntie's for one night but she needed me to go to have some friends over...

...but I did get my documents together, plus other important things. So now I can probably start looking at a hostel to stay at. I don't think any backpackers will let me in 'cos I don't have a passport/drivers license and they are a requirement. At least now with my documents, I can work on getting a new passport.

Also responded to a flatmate wanted ad today. :)

Thanks for the prayers, as always.

Your aunt only let you stay one night?

Good grief! No nephew of mine would be left in your predicament. I am really sorry, Bj.

However, that is good news on the documents; you have my prayers for your safety.

Lord, have mercy,
Christ, have mercy,
Lord, have mercy. :crossrc:

Thanks everyone. God answered our prayers. :)

After over a month homeless, I met up with a random youth group worshipping on the streets. After a little chat, it turned out one of them needed a flatmate at his brother's house (korean, also a christian.)

I am now moved into my new room. 180 per week, everything included (exactly in my price range)...in a nice apartment on the top floor, fully furnished, with a gym and a pool and great views. :) Right in town where I work and would like to live. Living with Christians! :)

It was totally God's work. Thankyou for all for your prayers. :)
