need a change

Does anyone feel like now that they are in their 40's they need to change there appreance? i feel like almost like a midlife crisis.... anyone thinking of a change?

Sometimes I do feel that way. I think it's mostly when I have a down day I want a change. It's those raging hormones

I think that it's a pretty common feeling. I play with different hair and beard lengths and styles sometimes.

I changed my hair a bit a few weeks ago. Everyone says I should cut it shorter, but I like it long (even if it IS zebra striped!!!

well, i am thinking dreadlocks and a nose ring...... see what i mean......changes or what?
maybe take up a hobby? by a book? or do the dreads? hey i might just look great in them...something i always wanted to do why not now?

I used to wear my hair short.now for the last year or so I have let my hair grow. My hair reaches my shoulder blades. my daughter wants me to have my hair cut. I can't seem to go through with it yet.

My hair reaches the middle of my back. I have worn it short, and I have worn it long. I prefer it long. Even if it is kinda streaked, now!

I did feel the need for a change, and shaved my head.

Discovered I liked it, and I've kept it that way.

ahh see there we go radical.... don't think i will shave it though.... although i did have to cut it short a while back and have to grow it out now, maybe thats why i am concidering the dreadlocks.... ???

LOL I was just thinking the same thing when I looked in the mirror this morning. I used to wear my hair very short for years. Then decided to grow it out. now that it's just a little past my shoulders, I am wondering if I should cut it again.

Maybe it's just my mood. I started taking biotin, I want to see what it does for my hair.

Before you do something too drastic, like piercing something (ouch!), consider changing your environment first.

Maybe paint your bedroom, dining or living room a bold color or buy a new duvet cover or that special window treatment you've always wanted. New decor can make you feel special.

It's just a suggestion, but repainting is easier than trying to grow over the hole left by a nose ring if you decide you don't like it.

I got bored a few weeks ago, and started whacking at my hair!!! Just the top. So, now I have bangs of sorts. I brush them back, though. Don't like my bangs across my forehead!! makes my face look fat!! (like it needs any help! )

You know I recently cut my hair. It's not a blanket anymore. My now toddler is active and I had to get with it . When I cut it I was still in Arizona and it was due to always being outside at the playground with him. I've moved now and I'm missing it. It's not really a big change but I had it long for years.

I am thinking about getting really wild and getting a third piercing in my left ear and s second in my right. I like having one side with an extra hole...it makes me feel rebellious!!!

Nose piercings just seem painful.

With all the hair products out there, surely one would work that you'd like. I get a little blonder each time I leave the hair salon.
