Navy Commission

Hey,

I'm applying for a Navy commission, but it seems like this is taking forever. I took the ASTBs and filled out that huge application and other materials, I have yet to do the physical MEPS or any of that... does anybody know how much more time I am looking at before I can go to OCS? It's frustrating to be so looking forward to this and have no idea how long it will take.

A lot of this depends on your recruiter and what you are going for. Do you have any interview boards or anything like that? Call your recruiter and ask for a timeframe. Tell him/her to keep you posted with what is going on. MEPS was one of the first things I did. It was easy to get that out of the way first. Ask to do that know. I think the physical is good for two years.
