Skunks. Can't get away from 'em.

We have one that frequents our back yard, but will politely slip away if he hears us outside....never sprayed us or been a threat of any kind. I've even almost picked him up because he's the same size and color as my Shih Tzu. NOT funny.

Whenever we go camping, a skunk wanders into camp, but never sprays us. Ever been cooking over an open fire, looked down and noticed a skunk standing beside you waiting for his treat? I have!

If you've never seen a skunk, just follow me around and your luck will change.

Tell me God doesn't have a sense of humor.

If it's sumfin beeeeuuuuteeeful that you're looking fer, it would have to sunsets, especially those with special cloud shapes.

I had an encounter once with something similar... I was fishing by moonlight, sitting on this nice sandy spot on the river bank just enjoying the beauty of the sky when something caught the corner of my eye... I turned and looked and a porkupine wasn't but two feet away from me, looking at me as if to say, "Hey, what are you and what are you doing?":D

Well... it does derive from cocoa beans, sugar beets or maybe sugar cane and sometimes honey, with the occasional nuts added ;) :D

Yikes! Better a skunk squirt than a porcupine assault, methinks.

There is a picture displayed at our Vet's. office of a dog that got too curious of a porcupine and it ain't purdy. There were close to 200 quills in his face and head.

I saw one like that on animal planet once, but I think it was a cactus. Poor critter!!!
