God gave you your hair, your fingernails...wouldn't cutting them away be an act of going against the nature?
Flowers are suppose to be made of cells, but people use plastics to make them nowadays, wouldn't making plastics flowers be going against the nature?
If the above are not considered going aginst the nature, then i simply can't get why cloning is going against the nature...wouldn't it stop animals from becoming extint and bring some extint animals back to life?
By cloning, there is also no need for organs donation, clone yourself and you can have lesser fear of dieing due to your organs having damaged!
even if cloning is really going against the nature, which is better--going against the nature or saving millions of life around the world each year?

I think the way that a Christian would veiw this, and im beginning to learn, is that God has a plan for us all. He KNOWS what is going to happen to us all and when. We are all here for a purpose and if that means that we are to die young, then so be it as it is His will.

*clone yourself and you can have lesser fear of dieing*

If you believe whole heartedly in God and the sacrifice of Jesus, then you would have no fear what so ever of dying, as he is preparing something out of our imagination. Something that will lead to eternal life and time spent with Jesus, so Christians would ask you what is there to be afraid of?

'The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life, whom shall I dread?'

Psalm 27:1-2

Please question me if you feel this is wrong x

In Genesis is says that God gave humans stewardship over the Earth. He also gave us authority of the plants and animals. So in regards to what you said about the flowers and the other things, we have the authority to do these things. However, God gave us stewardship with the aim to care for the world. So even though we may have authority we should not harm the world.

Genesis 1

26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [2] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground-everything that has the breath of life in it-I give every green plant for food." And it was so.
With your question about cloning this raises an issue about man's disobediance to God. Instead of humbling ourselves to God and being pleased with what He has given us and the relationship we can be with Him, we concern ourselves with trying to take the position of God.
In our world we are in the era of Post Modernism. Post Modernism is the age of science based on the belief that humans can understand and control everthing. This is essentially saying to God that we don't need Him because we can do it on our own. However, we cannot. So cloning is wrong because we take the position of God, which is not our right.

I'm sure others have a few things to say about the cloning issue.

The reason cloning is outlawed si becasue very smart epoel undersatnd the world and what the world will with technonlogy such as this. If you think about all the good things technology can bring, it seems like a blessing. But this technology in the wrong hands could ultimately destroy the world. Cloning politicians, cloning passed loved ones, among many other thing can all bring about great pain and destruction. It is not man's job to create other men. We would be messing with things beyond us. Plus have you ever seen Blade Runner? That's reason enough alone. And froma christian man's standpoint. The first cloned human is the first person not made out of God's hand and in my belief without a soul. Nothing good can come of that.
